Gap Site, High Street

This derelict site, occupied by an unsympathetic modern structure, on High Street was identified within the THI designated area as the initiative’s gap site. Chosen because of its location within historic High Street, surrounded by buildings of architectural interest.

Particular features common to Llandrindod’s architecture and particular to High Street were incorporated into the design of this new build. For example the inclusion of balconies, belvedere & stone detailing and the use of flemish bond brickwork to the front elevation. This development has led to the infilling of a derelict vacant site and the creation of 14 Residential units.
