The Manor, Lindens Walk

The Manor before and after restoration

Originally built as a hotel but now a shop, this property on Lindens Walk still retains many of the original features such as particularly fine examples of decorative ironwork and stained glass.

Removal and replacement of slate roof, ridge tiles, roof finials and cast iron rain water goods. Renovation of sash windows, balconies to front elevation, stained glass, external tiled flooring to front elevation, terracotta string coursing and decorative tiling. This project also saw the creation of roof dormers matching those on neighbouring properties and the removal of the fire-escape from the side elevation and rebuilding of a new one at the rear of the building where it was visually less detrimental to the building.
